As part of the overall assurance process of CCGs, a high-level review of Patient and Public Engagement was undertaken by NHS Audit Northwest in 2013. The auditors looked all patient and public involvement undertaken by the CCG and how this is considered by the Governing Body in decision making. They concluded that a “full level of assurance can be given on the adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls in place”. To read the full report please use the link below:
