New Oral Anticoagulants (NOAC)
The new oral Anticoagulants, Rivaroxaban, Dabigatran and Apixaban are now available for initiation in primary care and in limited circumstances for inpatients in secondary care. The drugs are grey listed and must be used within the criteria specified; the grey list can be accessed by clicking here.
A range of documents have been developed to support clinicians in considering these medications and help and support is available from the Medicines Management Team, either through the prescribing enquiry e-mail or via telephone on .
