Practice Manager – Cale Green Surgery
We are small, friendly 3 doctor practice with a list size of 4000 patients looking to recruit a part time practice manager (20-22hours/week).
The successful candidate will be versatile, highly motivated, well organised, capable of multi-tasking in a high pressure environment and, will provide stability and leadership in a constantly changing NHS. You will run the practice on a day-to-day basis, managing the administrative, reception and nursing staff in all non-clinical matters. This will include staff recruitment, induction and supervision of the reception and administrative teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all the practice processes. This will include managing patient care systems (IT, appointments, records and finances) and overall Practice performance, ensuring that targets and requisite outcomes are met.

Practice Nurse – Woodley Village Surgery
6 months fixed term contract – up to 16 hours per week
Based at Woodley Health Centre, Hyde Road, Woodley, Stockport, SK6 1ND in purpose-built modern premises, we are seeking to appoint a part-time practice nurse to cover a minimum of 6 months maternity leave. (This could be extended)
This is a busy, friendly 2 GP practice with over 3600 patients and you will be supported by an efficient administration team and a very experienced healthcare assistant.
The successful candidate will be delivering general practice nursing services to the practice population. You MUST have general practice experience and be able to perform the basic duties associated with this post, including but not exclusive to cervical smear testing, adult and child vaccinations (including travel vaccinations), general patient injections (both IM and sub-cut), phlebotomy, chronic disease management, pill checks, dietary advice, smoking advice etc. You should also be familiar with safeguarding requirements up to at least level 2.
Due to the local service level agreement in place relating to spirometry services, it is important that you are fully ARTP accredited.
Ideally this post will be up to 16 hours per week and would include either an early morning or late evening surgery in order to ensure accessibility for working patients. Working hours and clinical sessions are negotiable and will be discussed at interview stage. We do not open weekends or bank holidays.
This is a band 6 role and salary will be commensurate with experience, NHS Pension is offered.
